Year 2 Class Teacher (Maternity Leave)
Salary: Teacher Main Scale

Knightlow C of E Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher to join our friendly and supportive team in a vibrant school community, where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential and let their light shine. This is a full-time fixed term contract until February 2027 to cover the maternity leave of the current post holder.
At Knightlow, we have high aspirations for all learners. We are strongly committed to a rich and creative primary curriculum, and have a good partnership with the Anglican church in our capacity as a faith school.

The ideal candidate will be:
- a lively and motivated teacher who has high expectations and a good understanding of how children learn;
- a good communicator who is well organised;
- someone who shares our values and can work collaboratively for the benefit of the children;
- happy to engage in wider school activities, such as residential visits and fundraising events;
- willing to develop their expertise through shared CPD, team work and supporting a culture of reflective practice;
- willingness to lead a curriculum subject area.
